Within the City of Box Elder, the Planning and Zoning Department oversees several key areas, including Building Services, Code Enforcement, Planning, and GIS.
Our responsibilities encompass:
- Long-term planning to guide the future growth and development of Box Elder.
- Current planning by facilitating, managing, and ensuring the quality of development applications, thereby shaping the physical landscape of the City of Box Elder.
- Administration of Building Services, overseeing programs and functions related to construction and development within Box Elder.
- Enforcement of City ordinances pertaining to public health and safety through Code Enforcement.
