Monster Mash Event - Table Registration

Welcome to our 4th annual Monster Mash event! 

Event Details:
Date, Time, & Location:  Friday, Oct. 23rd from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at The Box Elder Events Center (631 Watiki Way, Box Elder, SD 57719) 

Setup Time:  Starting at 12:00 PM, please ensure your table setup is finalized by 4:30 PM.  A 6ft table will be provided to you. 
Cost: Free to attend & participate - last year we had over 2,000 attendees. 

Table Decoration Guidelines: Decorate your table with fun, Halloween-themed décor and feel free to wear a costume! To keep the event family-friendly, please avoid decorations or costumes with profanity, nudity, or other inappropriate content.  Please hand out candy, treats, or prizes. We recommend bringing 8–10 large bags of candy.  * If you run out of candy, please do NOT pack up your table early.  You may step away and walk around, but please keep the tables set up until 8:00 PM.

Who can decorate a table?  Anyone! (Community members, businesses, organizations/non-profits etc.) NO selling of any goods, foods, products, or services.     

Atmosphere: The gym will be dimmed to create a mysterious ambiance. It will be beautifully illuminated in Halloween colors. Halloween-themed music will play in the background.  We sincerely appreciate your commitment to creating a family-friendly, exhilarating atmosphere.  Your participation is key in making this event an unforgettable experience for all attendees. 

Deadline to register is Sunday, Oct. 18th, 2026.  Additional event details will be sent after the registration deadline on October 18th. Please watch your email on October 19th or 20th for more information.  We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing you at the event!

I, the undersigned, in consideration of my participation in the Monster Mash Event, do hereby release and discharge the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, jointly and severally, from any and all liability for personal injury accident, illness, death, property damage or other occurrence which I may suffer in any manner whatsoever arising out of, or resulting from, participation in said Events. I expressly assume ALL risks of my participation in the Event, including, without limitation, injury as a result of the acts of omission by any of the above-named parties, or some defect in, or on, their property of any of them, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except for illness and injury resulting directly from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the City of Box Elder or their employees. I agree to indemnify, save, hold harmless and define the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, of and from any and all loss, damages, expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees arising out of, or resulting from, my participation in the Event, including but not limited to any damages arising out of negligent or intentional conduct of other participants or other third parties. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CITY OF BOX ELDER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF MY ACTIVITIES DURING THE EVENT. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT, IF SIGNING ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, I AM AN AUTHORIZED AGENT OF SAID ORGANIZATION WITH THE POWER TO BIND AND CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID ORGANIZATION.
