Monster Mash Event - Table Registration

Welcome to our 4th annual Monster Mash event! 

Event Details:
Friday, Oct. 23rd from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at The Box Elder Events Center (631 Watiki Way, Box Elder, SD 57719) 
Cost: Free to attend & participate - last year we had over 2,100 attendees walk through. 

Table Registration & Decoration Guidelines:

Deadline to register for a table space is Sunday, Oct. 18th, 2026.  Additional event details will be sent after the registration deadline on October 18th. Please watch your email on October 19th or 20th for more information.

Who can decorate a table? Anyone! Community members, businesses, organizations, nonprofits, families, and groups are welcome to participate. Decorate your table with Halloween-themed décor and feel free to wear a costume! Please keep all decorations and costumes family-friendly and appropriate.

NO selling of goods, food, products, or services is permitted.

Table Setup:

Setup begins at 12:00 PM at The Box and must be FULLY completed by 4:30 PM. A 6-ft table and chairs will be provided to you.

Candy & Supplies:

Please bring your own candy, decorations, table coverings, displays, and props. We recommend 8–10 large bags of candy or other treats/prizes. If you run out of candy or prizes, please DO NOT tear down early. All tables and displays must remain set up until 8:00 PM.

Atmosphere: The gym will be transformed into a spooktacular Halloween setting, with dimmed lighting, festive Halloween colors, lasers, and Halloween-themed music setting the mood. 🎃👻

  • Use Command Strips for adhesives.

  • No glitter, gum, sequins, or stickers.

I, the undersigned, in consideration of my participation in the Monster Mash Event, do hereby release and discharge the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, jointly and severally, from any and all liability for personal injury accident, illness, death, property damage or other occurrence which I may suffer in any manner whatsoever arising out of, or resulting from, participation in said Events. I expressly assume ALL risks of my participation in the Event, including, without limitation, injury as a result of the acts of omission by any of the above-named parties, or some defect in, or on, their property of any of them, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except for illness and injury resulting directly from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the City of Box Elder or their employees. I agree to indemnify, save, hold harmless and define the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, of and from any and all loss, damages, expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees arising out of, or resulting from, my participation in the Event, including but not limited to any damages arising out of negligent or intentional conduct of other participants or other third parties. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CITY OF BOX ELDER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF MY ACTIVITIES DURING THE EVENT. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT, IF SIGNING ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, I AM AN AUTHORIZED AGENT OF SAID ORGANIZATION WITH THE POWER TO BIND AND CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID ORGANIZATION.
