Thank you for your interest in participating in the City of Box Elder’s Annual Salute to Ellsworth Event!
This exciting community celebration will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at City Hall & Phelps Pond areas (420 Villa Drive) from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM: parade at 3:00 PM and a spectacular fireworks show around 8:00 PM.
You will be notified via email about your status after the sign-up deadline (August 21st), along with all additional event information.
Deadline to submit: Friday, August 21st, 2026.
For non-profits and partnering sponsors, there is no cost to have a 10x10 booth space at our events. If you would like to sell products or merchandise, you MUST fill out this form instead.
Vendor Participation Guidelines:
To help make this a fun, family-friendly event, vendors are asked to offer a FREE kids' activity (excluding face painting) and/or provide FREE giveaway items or swag. The day of the event, you will need to be completely set up and ready to go by 3:00 PM. Tear-down may begin anytime after 7:15 PM but no later than 9:00 PM. The City of Box Elder reserves the right to assign vendor locations in a manner that best supports the success of the event and the experience of our attendees.
LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF THE CITY OF BOX ELDER FOR EVENT PARTICIPANTS
I, the undersigned, in consideration of my participation in the City of Box Elder Events do hereby release and discharge the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, jointly and severally, from any and all liability for personal injury accident, illness, death, property damage or other occurrence which I may suffer in any manner whatsoever arising out of, or resulting from, participation in said Events.
I expressly assume ALL risks of my participation in the Event, including, without limitation, injury as a result of the acts of omission by any of the above-named parties, or some defect in, or on, their property of any of them, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except for illness and injury resulting directly from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the City of Box Elder or their employees.
I agree to indemnify, save, hold harmless and define the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, of and from any and all loss, damages, expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees arising out of, or resulting from, my participation in the event, including but not limited to any damages arising out of negligent or intentional conduct of other participants or other third parties.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CITY OF BOX ELDER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THE EVENT.
I certify that any vehicle(s) which will be driven by me (if any) in the event has insurance which conforms to the laws of the State of South Dakota and that I have a current, valid license.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT, IF SIGNING ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, I AM AN AUTHORIZED AGENT OF SAID ORGANIZATION WITH THE POWER TO BIND AND CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID ORGANIZATION.
