Welcome to the 9th Annual Salute to Ellsworth Event!
Thank you for your interest in participating in the City of Box Elder's Salute to Ellsworth Event! The event will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at City Hall and Phelps Pond area (420 Villa Drive). Event hours are 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the parade beginning at 3:00 p.m. and the fireworks show starting around 8:00 p.m.
Deadline to submit: Friday, August 21st, 2026.
Vendor Participation Guidelines:
For vendors NOT selling any items and partnering sponsors, there is no cost to have a 10x10 booth space at our event. If you would like to sell products or merchandise, you MUST fill out this form instead. To help make this a fun, family-friendly event, vendors are asked to offer a FREE kids' activity (excluding face painting) and/or provide FREE giveaway items or swag. Participants are responsible for providing their own complete booth setup - electricity is not available. If you plan to use a canopy, please ensure it is properly secured with weights or sandbags, as windy conditions are likely.
Once you complete this form, you will be notified via email with all event information and set-up/tear down times AFTER the sign-up deadline on August 21st. The City of Box Elder reserves the right to assign vendor locations in a manner that best supports the event's success and our attendees' experience.
LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF THE CITY OF BOX ELDER FOR EVENT PARTICIPANTS
I, the undersigned, in consideration of my participation in the City of Box Elder Events do hereby release and discharge the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, jointly and severally, from any and all liability for personal injury accident, illness, death, property damage or other occurrence which I may suffer in any manner whatsoever arising out of, or resulting from, participation in said Events.
I expressly assume ALL risks of my participation in the Event, including, without limitation, injury as a result of the acts of omission by any of the above-named parties, or some defect in, or on, their property of any of them, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except for illness and injury resulting directly from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the City of Box Elder or their employees.
I agree to indemnify, save, hold harmless and define the City of Box Elder and their respective elected officials, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners and contractors, of and from any and all loss, damages, expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees arising out of, or resulting from, my participation in the event, including but not limited to any damages arising out of negligent or intentional conduct of other participants or other third parties.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CITY OF BOX ELDER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THE EVENT.
I certify that any vehicle(s) which will be driven by me (if any) in the event has insurance which conforms to the laws of the State of South Dakota and that I have a current, valid license.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT, IF SIGNING ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, I AM AN AUTHORIZED AGENT OF SAID ORGANIZATION WITH THE POWER TO BIND AND CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID ORGANIZATION.
